Cross-pollination through space: Il Prisma Live
We are an international architecture and design firm with Italian origins. In 2024, we opened our new Milan HQ, conceived as an observatory on the humans of tomorrow. It is a fluid environment where our vision–Design Human Life–takes form, translating pervasive knowledge sharing into spatial design. How did we bring this space to life? Through our integrated approach, harnessing the synergies of vertical expertise within our multidisciplinary team and horizontal collaboration across business units. The Cityscape and Worksphere units focused on fostering interaction with the city on a human scale, shaping an experiential space that encourages serendipitous encounters. The Destination unit created interior solutions inspired by Robin Dunbar’s concept of weak ties, enabling access to new information, people, and networks to spark innovation. The Innovation unit launched a cultural research program, enriched each year by a selected artist.

This is why, for us, Il Prisma Live is more than just a physical space: Within its 1,100 sq. meters, everything is designed as an experimental lab: from adaptable environments to mobile furnishings, shaping a versatile and dynamic experience.
