Short introduction

Established in 2000, GTC Hungary is one of the pivotal property developers in Hungary and is part of the Warsaw-based Globe Trade Centre S.A.

Center Point, with its 41,300 m2 leasable area, is GTC’s first and biggest office building development on Váci Corridor so far. The building was built in 2 phases; the first was finished in 2003 and the second was handed over in 2006. There was a significant technical upgrade on the building in 2014, the result of which was a more effective and cost efficient maintenance. Thanks to the aforementioned development, Center Point was awarded LEED Gold certification in the same year.

The occupancy rate has been close to 100% for years thanks to the building’s excellent location and constant developments. Center Point is 3 minutes away from Árpád Bridge metro and tram line 1, also numerous local buses are available in close vicinity.

Center Point is constantly renewing in order to maintain the standards associated with an A category office building. The conference room was refurbished in 2016, and GTC has started the refitting of the bathrooms, elevators, and reception area of Center Point 1. One of the special features of the building is the inner garden, which has also been completely redesigned for the tenants’ convenience.

Reasons to win the award

The occupancy of the building is proving that Center Point is popular among tenants. Vacancy rate has been under 4% for years, and there is a steady interest for the vacant units. Almost all of the current tenants have been renting their offices since 2006 thanks to years of successful cooperation. GTC aims to continuously develop the building technically and also upgrade its design to meet today’s expectation and to keep the building’s prime role among A category office buildings. All the services and shops in the building were designed to serve our tenants’ needs.

Center Point has a prime location as the city center can be easily reached by metro. Furthermore, the in-house services and nearby amenities assure that tenants’ needs are always met.

There are two conference rooms; one for 150 and the other for 50 people. A post office and dry cleaning is available for the companies and employees working in the building, providing more convenient and time-saving solutions. There is also a restaurant, 2 cafés, a bakery, gym, bank, and a travel agency in the building, but there are several other restaurants and canteens in close vicinity. Grocery stores like Aldi and Spar are only a 2-minute-walk from the building, and Duna Plaza is not far either; only 2 metro stops away.
